FROM DRAWING TO TECHNICAL QUOTATION
All items in one place, documentation for each part and a clear next step. Here is the full process and answers to frequently asked questions.
Open the DXF configurator for laser cutting and bending. Open the STEP configurator for CNC milling. Fences and measuring equipment are listed under Products.
Prepare DXF files in millimetres. For CNC, upload STEP or STP. Check the filename, geometry and dimensions. If the preview does not match the drawing, do not submit the request without a note.
Choose material, DXF thickness, quantity and additional operations. For bending, enter bends per plate. A PDF with dimensions and angles helps the technical review.
The indicative price is calculated on the server. Combine DXF, STEP and products in one cart. On request means no automatic estimate is available, not that the price is zero.
At checkout, enter your contact details, review the items and attach the required documentation. Keep the order reference after submission. The email confirmation acknowledges receipt of the request.
Receipt of a request does not confirm the final price, lead time or start of production. After review, we agree the quotation, payment method and collection or delivery.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
For laser cutting, use DXF up to 30 MB per file in millimetres. For CNC, use STEP/STP up to 100 MB. Attach a PDF, sketch or photo for a manual quotation; catalogue request attachments must not exceed 20 MB.
Choose a manual quotation in the CNC configurator and attach a PDF, sketch or photo. Add quantity and machining requirements. Without a reliable 3D model, the request requires manual technical assessment.
No. Current rates are marked INDICATIVE ESTIMATE. The estimate is non-binding and the order awaits technical confirmation. Complex geometry or additional operations may change the final price.
The model or selected machining may lack a reliable automatic calculation, active rate or supported dimensions. The configurator shows the reason. You can submit the request for technical review.
If a DXF contains multiple separate plates, quantity means sets. For example: four plates, quantity two and two bends per plate mean eight parts and sixteen bends in total.
Yes. Each model in the STEP configurator can have its own material, quantity and options. DXF, CNC and catalogue items share one cart and checkout.
Dimensions, volume and mass are displayed from reliable geometry analysis. Cylindrical holes may be detected, but this does not confirm threads automatically. Actual CAM and machining time cannot be reliably determined from the model alone. Specify extra requirements in the drawing and notes.
Fence previews use actual DXF samples. Changing form dimensions requests an adjustment; it does not automatically scale the production drawing. The selected original DXF is saved with the order.
The DXF table shows amounts excluding VAT. CNC shows indicative amounts excluding and including VAT at the configured rate. The final quotation must state tax and any delivery charges.
Online card and PayPal payments are not active yet. Choosing bank transfer does not confirm payment. Await a technically confirmed quotation and payment instructions; an indicative estimate is not a payment request.
Lead time and production start are agreed after technical review and acceptance of the quotation. Express does not automatically guarantee a specific date; availability is confirmed separately.
Keep the order reference. Use Order tracking; signed-in customers can see orders in their account. For further questions, email [email protected] and include the reference.
Originals are stored outside the public directory. Only the authorised order owner and administrator can access them. If ordering as a guest, keep browser access; the order reference alone does not allow downloading someone else's files.
